After his talk with Mufasa, Kion is confronted by the Lion Guard, who informs him that Mtoto has heard of another attack involving Makuu. Kion urges his father to pick Ono as the young Pride Lander to spend the day with Hadithi. Though Makuu is bothered by Kion's bias, he backs off. Kion continues to train with Askari, learning to use the Roar in incredible ways, such as lifting rocks, creating pillars, and more.
